Policy Overview

Clear rules for safe and lawful use of HostMyCode services

This policy explains what is allowed, what is not allowed, and how HostMyCode responds when a service puts the platform or other customers at risk.

Quick summary

  • Use HostMyCode only for lawful websites, apps, and business workloads.
  • Do not run spam, phishing, malware, scans, attacks, or abusive traffic.
  • If a service creates platform risk, HostMyCode may limit, suspend, or terminate it.
01

Purpose and scope

This policy applies to everyone using HostMyCode services. That includes account holders, resellers, end users, and anyone running apps, websites, or content on our infrastructure.

Its goal is simple. We need to protect platform security, service stability, and the lawful use of our network.

Read this page together with the Terms of Service, Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy. HostMyCode may enforce these rules in good faith to protect the platform and meet legal or operational needs.

02

Unlawful, harmful, and abusive use

You may not use HostMyCode services for unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive activity. You also may not host content that violates the rights of others.

Examples include phishing, scams, impersonation, financial fraud, copyright abuse, stolen data, unlawful pornography, threats, harassment, defamation, or content meant to exploit or deceive people.

If activity appears unlawful or harmful, HostMyCode may suspend or terminate the service right away.

03

Spam, malware, and security abuse

Do not use HostMyCode to send spam, bulk unsolicited email, mass messages, or abuse traffic that can damage reputation or trigger blacklisting.

Malware is strictly prohibited. That includes ransomware, spyware, phishing kits, credential theft tools, botnet infrastructure, and malicious scripts.

You also may not spoof identities, forge headers, hide origin details, or send misleading traffic meant to trick recipients.

04

Unauthorized access and network interference

Do not try to access networks, systems, accounts, credentials, or data that you do not own or control.

Prohibited activity includes hacking, brute-force attacks, credential stuffing, exploitation attempts, unauthorized scanning, open proxy abuse, amplification attacks, IP spoofing, and denial-of-service traffic.

You may not disrupt, degrade, or overload HostMyCode infrastructure or connected third-party systems. That includes tools or services built mainly for attack traffic or abuse automation.

05

Resource abuse and prohibited workload types

HostMyCode services must be used for normal hosting, application, website, and business workloads that fit the product you purchased.

Do not use the platform for coin mining, unauthorized distributed computing, booters, stressers, abusive crawlers, artificial traffic, public cyberlockers, or similar high-risk workloads.

If a workload creates unreasonable CPU, memory, disk, network, or complaint load, HostMyCode may require you to reduce it or move it.

06

Storage, backup, and fair use expectations

Even when a service is described as unmetered or generous, it still has reasonable technical and platform limits. These services are meant for normal hosting use.

Unless a product is sold as storage or backup space, you may not use it mainly as a file locker, media archive, backup repository, or similar storage-heavy service.

If usage becomes excessive or harms platform stability, HostMyCode may ask you to fix it, limit the service, or suspend it.

07

Enforcement, abuse response, and disclosure

HostMyCode does not promise routine human review of all customer activity. We may still investigate complaints, watch platform health, and act when abuse or risk becomes known.

Enforcement can include warnings, filtering, temporary limits, suspension, null-routing, content removal, cancellation, refusal of reactivation, or permanent termination.

We may preserve, review, or disclose relevant information when needed for legal compliance, abuse handling, security, or policy enforcement.

08

Reporting, updates, and customer cooperation

Send abuse reports and policy complaints to abuse@hostmycode.com. Customers are expected to respond quickly to abuse tickets, verification requests, mitigation requests, and security notices.

If you do not respond within a reasonable time, HostMyCode may suspend or terminate the affected service.

HostMyCode may update this policy by publishing a new version on the website. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated version.
